Let's here it for the Duggar family (19 kids and counting.)

I come from a very small family.
Only 4 in my own family.
But,We have a extended family of 5 and 2 more on weekends so 7.....
And alot of cayoss...
So It amazes me to see this wonderful family, and how well they interact with each other.
I would not want there Grocery Bill 
They are a well oiled machine

I personally think they've taken the whole " kids are a gift from god " too far. The last baby was premature. I think that's god's way of saying he's done with gifts.

It's good that the family works so well together, but I have to agree that they've gone too far. I've never seen the show so I'm not sure...are any of the kids adopted? If not, I think that shows some selfishness on the part of the parents. If you can afford to have a houseful of kids like that, why not open your home and hearts to the many kids who are in need of a home and family instead of flooding society with more of their own offspring?

the messed up thing Is they want more kids. To me that Is retarded. The last baby was premature and had some hospital time. Course, they took the baby out of the hospital because they have a tv show and she ended up having to be rushed back via ambulance. My boyfriend and I discuss them all the time and we  both agree they should have never had 19 kids. That's pushing It

I don't watch the show but saw them on Huckabee's show on Fox News.  I really liked them.  I come from a family of six and are still close friends with all my siblings.

The Duggers are good Christian people but having 19 children is carrying it to far.   I know they are well off because it says he rents out commerical property.  But they get a lot of money for their tv show.  The older children help take care of the young one because one woman is not able to take care of that many children at one time.

We just lost our baby, so everytime I see baby or anything to do with kids, I lose it. It seems like it is everywhere in the store, on tv, everywhere you turn, we were really looking forward to having our child, bought everything, changed our whole life around. It is so sad.

i agree...it seems like too much-nonetheless, if they can raise them well, there's not much I can say negatively-it's their choice, so they can't complain
if it gets challenging in any way.....

Are these all birth children or did they adopt? Seems to me there are plenty of children out there to go around.  How on earth can you care for for so many?  I know kids take care of each other alot but isn't that a little selfish of the parent team and how can you afford them all? Maybe we are helping to support them.  But really, nineteen? Ieee!!!!!!!!!

I come from a big family 9 children and all individual births I loved it great times lots of fun times especially around the Holidays we were all healthy and happy we had clothes on our back roof over head and food although my dad did buy a half of a cow all the time and lots of chickens all wrapped dated labled and into the freezer which was huge, So I just say live and let live to the Duggens who are we to judge how other people live their lives.  Good luck to them and to all the other big families out there
