My 2 1/2 year old is puking!

Should I take him to the doctor right away or wait it out and see if it's a one day thing?  I'm pregnant, and when you get sick pregnant it's the WORST, so everytime he touches something I sanatize it right away haha.  I'm going to the store today to get some sanitizing wipes and hand sanitizer.  Poor little guy.

I would take him to doctor for both your sakes. There is a bad stomach virus going around.  I hope your little man gets better soon.

If he's still puking by this time, DEFINITELY take him to the doctor. If he has stopped, give him some Pedialyte to restore his fluids and electrolytes. Hope the little guy feels better.

Definitelly take him to the doc, make sure he hasn't gotten into anything dangerous.

I would take him to the doctor but also give him some ginger ale an make him sip it with salten crackers he will be great.

white toast is also good.
I am not a "rush to the dr." kinda mom (not passing judgement, just saying i'm not).  I usually give it 24 hours --- unless NOTHING stays down.  Little ones get dehydrated easily.  But if i can get my little guy to tolerate some gingerale, 7-up or pedialyte and bland foods -- I let it go for a minute and monitor.  If combined with a fever then there is a higher chance for dehydration and I don't usually wait much with that, but I would call the Dr. office for advice.

There is very little you can do about the puking anyways, right?

Here's an update - he was fine by Saturday morning, but me?  Sunday morning is when mine started - passed it to me.  I got better this afternoon, and now my fiance has it.  It went through the whole family - luckily it's only a 24-hour flu bug.
