Obama's Birth Certificate

Statement from President George W. Bush by Laura W. Bush on Monday, May 2, 2011 at 12:04am:

"Earlier this evening, President Obama called to inform me that American forces killed Osama bin Laden, the leader of the al Qaeda network that attacked America on September 11, 2001. I congratulated him and the men and women of our military and intelligence communities who devoted their lives to this mission. They have our everlasting gratitude. This momentous achievement marks a victory for America, for people who seek peace around the world, and for all those who lost loved ones on September 11, 2001. The fight against terror goes on, but tonight America has sent an unmistakable message: No matter how long it takes, justice will be done."

This was on FB, posted on Laura Bush's page and Pres. George Bush's page.

Wonderful!!  I miss President Bush. I like the last sentence: "No matter how long it takes, justice will be done."

I like it, too.  He meant it back then and today!

I agree that it is crazy that we should need a birth certificate. However, if there is any question about the birth place of a potential and/or current president, then it must be taken care of. This job is the ONLY elected position that I can think of that requires you be born in the US.

If anyone believes his birth certificate is fake because it does not say "birth certificate"; you'll have to find another reason.

My own birth certificate says "certificate of live birth", not "birth certificate".

That's all I wanted to say.  (Was getting tired of comments on so many sites claiming it's a fake because it says "certificate of live birth".  It kept making me feel like I had to defend myself from attack!)
