We have some very mentally ill people in this country.  This guy is one of them.  He has never been helped and probably never asked for help.  There is no doubt in my mind, that his friends and other folks that may have known him, knew that he was very sick, but chose not to do anything about it. This guy will be given the death penalty and he surely deserves it.  Whether or not they actually kill him or not, is another question.  Perhaps killing this guy does less good than letting him rot in prison.

I posted about the Arizona shooting under Reps/Dems & congress targeted for termination. Rep Giffords & the other victims is in my prayers. I heard just now that the shooter is probably mentally disturbed. Most People are so disappointed & distressed with the congress that maybe the shooter was just at his last straw & lost it. It doesn't excuse it but even humans that have no mental issues can lost once in a while.

It's horrible, I couldn't really believe it at first when I heard about it. I'm glad she's alive but I heard a little girl died and that really tore me up.

I also want to send my thoughts and prayers out to the families of the victims, it is very sad and scary to think something as tragic as this could happen.

I read that a neighbor for that 9 year old girl, brought her there because she had just been elected to her student council, that neighbor must be a wreck.

an a man in his 70 i think died when he shielded his wife who were high school sweethearths it is just sad.  :angel11:

My prayers go to each and every one of the families affected in this tradgedy. It really makes you think that things like this happen in this world at any time, any place. It is just another example of how little time we have here, and how little time we have to make the choice to accept the Lord into our lives. These things can happen in an instant, anywhere, no one is safe from this kind of tradgedy, the only thing you can do is make the right choice now, so you know where you will be. I pray these people have found Jesus. I pray for the young man who did this, that the demons in him will be gone. Because I believe that is the only thing that could of caused him to do something as tragic as this.

My heart goes out to all affected by this latest tragedy.  We are in some strange times. Everything happens for a reason. We as a whole, must learn to love and care for another and say no to all sources of violence.

My heart breaks for the friends and families of the victims. I really hope and pray Rep Giffords and the others who were shot pull through.
