I wouldn't want to be anyone else.  The grass is always greener on the other side.  My life isn't perfect - nowhere near it as a matter of fact, but I love my life, am grateful for it most days, and wouldn't trade it for the world.

John Wayne.  He was a tough man both on and off screen.

Oh wow, that's a really hard question!

Growing up, there was a million people I wanted to be. When things are going crappy, I always think how better it would be if I were someone else.

There's always scenarios when we just want to be somewhere/somebody else. At least, that's common for me. Would we think that way if we weren't spoon fed what's 'acceptable'? If we didn't see what was considered beauty, would we want to be that person who's deemed so beautiful?

I think it's better to find out where that craving to be someone else is coming from, rather than to succumb to it. So many people feel the same way - it's best to look into something like that.

But back to your question, it would be easier to be anything that's acceptable and 'easy' in whatever society you live in. If it's wealth that would make things better where you are, then let's be a rich person. If it's a beautiful/fashionable person who has popularity, then be that person. Etc. etc. A lot of black people would be white if it meant an easier life and just being seen as beautiful, etc. (Wonder if that has anything to do with black programs such as BET, to encourage self-appreciation, hm.) And vise versa, believe it or not.

If I could be anyone else but me, I'd like to be the person that knew how to 'beat' typical human emotion.
"Make me believe."

Nope, I'm happy just the way I am. I wouldn't change who I am for anything. If I could be born all over again I would still want to be the way I am. If you're curious, I'm Cuban and Puerto Rican. Hence, my fusioncash ID "cubarican"  Born and raised in Philly but I definitely won't forget where my parents came from. I like to keep my culture alive regardless of where I live. Not to change the subject but I love America because it is a melting pot of different cultures, different races. That's what America is supposed to be. I get along with anyone regardless, what race, color, nationality, the list goes on and on. There's always a common ground that I have with different types of people. We may have disagreements but in the end we always respect each other. That's how I like it. I respect you, you respect me. Plain and simple and how it should be.

I am a 100% puertorican born and raise there. My parents gave me values for life. I was a superhyper child, so if I have to be born again and be someone else i would choose me again. My life was hard, but all the fun I had as a child I wouldnt change it for nothing.
