I don't feel like they're over. I went out yesterday and I saw Valentine's AND St. Patrick's Day stuff out. To me it seems like it never ends.

Extremely glad the holidays are over.  As wonderful as the holidays may be, it tends to get very hectic.  With all the shopping that needs to get done, preparing for the big day...family, dinner.  Now things can go back to normal.

Same here, it seems they want to run all the holidays together.  It's the merchants that run the holiday stuff into the ground because it's good for their business!  I refuse to be manipulated like that anymore.  Do you have any idea how wonderful it is to give someone something when they don't even expect it....not even close to a holiday or their B-Day?  I've made an attempt to do just that with wondrous results.  If we would all just quit playing into the buying frenzy....just sayin.

The holidays may be over but this month is my brother and grandson's birthdays.  Next month is my sister, brother-in-law, son, husband and another grandson's birthday(s).   March used to be free except for our wedding anniversary but now there a great-grand-child expected.  April is another grandson but at least things have slowed down some by then unti July & then it starts in again.

This was bad year so glad the holidays are over, however, I survived them...lol. I have to take the Christmas deco down, think I will leave the lights on the palm tree though, it looks nice.

It really didn't affect me in any real way.  I didn't do any Christmas shopping or  decorating.  Just another day except for the birth of christ.  It is so commercialized and I haven't enjoyed Christmas in a long time.

Holiday time is wonderful and I love all the time I get to spend with my family, but I do like when it is over.  My daughters birthday is right before christmas also, so it is exhausting.

While I enjoy the "Spirit" and "Meaning" of Christmas, I've left the rest by the wayside.  It's nice to have loved ones around and have special times and meals, but not to cash into the commercialization that has become so common during this season.

Yes. I eat too much during these holidays, can't resist the temptation. I love the holiday spirit.

I am glad they are over in a sense of being able to rest a little bit!  It seems during the holidays its just run, run, and run!   I do miss the decorations but not taking them down and putting them up!
