New to FC

Hi everyone!  I'm new and excited to get started with FC today. Was wondering if anyone out there can help me out.  Before getting the signup bonus, i was supposed to choose some free stuff to receive emails from and get more FC bonuses.  Do i actually need to go through the sites to get cash out in my FC account?
