How do you deal with people who....

How do you deal with people who hold grudges or will not let go of petty crap??

I ask this because I have ran into a quite a lot of people who well have issues and well cannot let them go they use it as their chip on the shoulder...And some will purposely act a fool to make it known they still are dwelling on their own *bleep*!! I have done what I normally do ignore and go on with my life,laugh it off but lately a person who use to be close to me gets off on trying to annoy or *bleep* me off or just give me these dirty looks (well she looks like she has to poop) and well I feel myself wearing thin on being the better person..Its almost like she is playing a game of chess with me but I was never informed I was playing LMAO!!

Just as u mentioned ignore them n move on with ur life. Holding grudges may cause someone to miss out on somethin way good coming their way so i'll say don't let it bother u but if this person is a close friend u can also talk to him/her n let them know the past should remain in the past, n dat they need to grow up.

For me I had a grudge against a friend because they lied to me multiple times (including for months telling me they were pregnant), called me names, was selfish, and borrowed probably 100-200 dollars off me (i was friends with her from 7th-10th grade so that was a lot of money to me at the time), and was all around a bad friend.  I forgave her multiple times and eventually got sick of it told her our friendship was over the end.  For some reason she decided to text me over and over, give me dirty notes in the hallway, gave notes to my friends to me that started out sayin she wanted me as her best friend again and slowly progressing to im a *bleep* go die.  I honestly just did not care about her anymore but i would not forgive her so I guess that is a grudge.  I stayed as the better person and ignored all her notes and she left me alone for about 2 years til she messaged me on facebook saying shes changed.  I just told her good for her I dont believe her but thats just me.  Eventually if you ignore someone enough they go away.  But i say if you can't avoid this person which I take it you cant because they are giving you constant dirty looks, just tell them to get the stick out of their *bleep*.

I would just continue to ignore her as if she doesn't exist. When she acts dumb, just smile, shake your head and walk away. She is trying to get to you by acting like that. It would probably annoy her more if she can't break you down. As long as she doesn't put her hands on you or gets in your face, you shouldn't sweat it.

I'm afraid I am one of those people. My husband says I never forget and will bring it up every so often. I'm trying to stop but it is hard.
