jobs arent paying enough

why is that jobs these days dont seem like they pay enough its like the harder you work the less you make and the easier the job the more you make who agrees with me

I get 7.90 for housekeeping. I have to clean a department store before they open in the morning. Because of the nature of this job, hours are limited but It would be nice to make more per hour. making an extra $400 isnt really helping. Hell my paycheck is gone and I have other bills that need to be paid. This is the only job i could get.

Well there are a few answers to that. One is that there are more people looking for jobs these days so that puts the employers in the drivers seat. Meaning there are more people are willing to settle for less money and fewer hours just to help pay the bills. Next companies are so affraid more now then ever of fallen into the downward spiral that so many other companies have fallen into, company closings.

This economy is hard on everyone and I believe that it is hardest on the working class of today. Employers know that people need jobs and are cutting pay because they know that people don't want to complain when it's so hard to find a job. Its a shame how underpaid people are. It seems like to get a decent pay check most people have to work overtime. Half of that overtime gets taken in taxes

It's an employers market now, so you have to take it or leave it.  Millions of people are feeling the heat.

I went from 40000 to 15000 per year and it sucks
