Job Search Hits That Are Pay Me First Jobs
« on: November 05, 2010, 01:39:53 am »
Recently, I was looking for a new job doing an online search on a job search database. I was given a link that I could easily make $75.00 per hour. That I also made my own hours and worked at my very own pace. Sounded like a good job to me almost like a dream job per say. So I did what any one probably would do. I clicked on the link. I started to fill out what appeared like any normal online job application. Then when I got to the end they wanted my credit card information, so they could charge me a fee for there services.

Now, I feel as though that if you are not an actual employer, or some scam team then you should not post on a job market database. I never paid any employer in my life, to start a job, and I am not about to start now. So this whole idea of trying to trick people into applying for whatever they claim to be. Is to me a good case of false advertisement. I also personally feel as though the FCC should be involved.

When I look for a job, I want a job, not all this other stuff that they advertise and post on these sites. I feel as though that is what is wrong with our country today. Forget going back to school. That ain't a job. i am in school myself, so why do I need apply for college on a job site. I am looking for a job. So I want that in the database not pay me an I'll pay you companies and Colleges.

We as a country that is already hurting for work needs to make a stand and clean up our job referal sites.

I feel you. I've been looking for a new job and it's ridiculous that people get away with these scams. Just recently, I got information about a open position that sounded okay, so I filled out the application and submitted it. A couple of days later I received a message stating that they wanted me to come in for an interview, but first I would have to get my own credit report that they provided a link for  ::). Of course, I didn't do it, but I get this type of garbage all of the time ...so annoying.  :angry7:

There are a lot of things backwards in America. Like,  health insurance.
