Logically, I don't think so.  It makes no sense.  I mean the world is in an okay position right now.  2 years isn't enough time for the world to meet its demise.  It should be a few decades in the making. 
However both the Mayans and Incans (I think) ended their calendar in the exact same day. What are the odds of that?! I think deep down, I might believe it, but i refuse to publicly admit it.
