Can you describe something nice that you have done for yourself recently?  Why is it important to sometimes do nice things for yourself?

Hmm I am a big giver I have 3 kids a hubby and lots of animals..But when I do find those moments I sit in my garden near my butterfly plants which I bought and planted and watch nature and just take it in..It puts me in a good mood and its shows me such beauty..I think it is important to do nice things for yourself to stay balanced and loving yourself means treating yourself well..If you cannot do that then you really cannot give that to others..

On 9/10, the first day of our vacation, my husband and I went to services at a synagogue I had never attended and then we got a hotel room with a hot tub.  I totally fell asleep in the hot tub...how romantic!  He woke me, put me to bed, and let me sleep.  He's a keeper!

i bought myself a nice pair of shoes. i jus like takin care of myself if i see something i like and if i can afford it i'll buy it

Since I'm alone for meals I usually just grab something quick and not so good. Sunday I bought a little Steak and actually made myself a nice dinner...Steak, Mac&Cheese and Salad. I think sometimes we forget our own likes/needs.

Can you describe something nice that you have done for yourself recently?  Why is it important to sometimes do nice things for yourself?

My favorite pampering ritual is getting a pedicure and manicure when I can afford it. I get to sit in a big comfy chair that automatically massages up and down your back while your feet are rubbed and massaged and then toenails painted bold color. That is a relaxing time for me.

I bought myself a new set of cookware and last week I did a lot of relaxing because I wasn't feeling well.  I think it is important to do things for yourself ... but also for others.  I bought my husband tickets to a college football game for our anniversary and he is very excited!

Having "me" time is very hard to come by, so when I get the chance I like to give myself a home spa day- deep conditioning treatment, pedicure, facial and a hot bath ahhhhh....can't wait to get another me time!
