:cat:  You are so right, aggie.  I know this lady who has 5 younger children, whose husband had to go to jail.  She only works part time herself.  I had mentioned to her once that while he is in jail, if we can help with anything to let us know.  She's got a lot of pride, but the other day she came to me privately and asked if I could help her out with a little gas and food (milk, peanut butter, bread, etc.)  We helped her by at least giving her some to help with gas and a little food.  It felt good to know we helped a mom and her children, even though we actually are tight ourselves and used money that should have paid a couple of bills.
Like you said, we were raised by our parents to want to help someone in need. You never know just how much you are helping someone and I really believe you will be blessed and helped by someone else when that time comes.

I am all for the heping the other person change and so forth , but there is a limit to me that person has to be ready for a change ... but there are some people that need a great change as well.. if this makes any sense at all
But I am speaking from experince if the person can not learn from their mistakes and keeps repeating it over and over then there is no changing them , but if the person is ready to learn and move on then I am all for helping  :peace:
