Some will say I'm crazy for telling everyone when a referral contest just started, but there are more important things in life than winning a contest. I think I have a good chance anyway.

The real secret to getting referrals is DO NOT chase them, let them find you. Even your personal friends and relatives, don't get in their face with exciting news of how they can make money here. Just show up with something nice and when they ask about it, then tell them you really got it free. Tease them into making you let them in.

So how can you do that on the Internet? Click on my name and in my profile you can go read all my posts (if you have time). Then work on getting yourself recognized here and everywhere else you visit online. Don't pick so many you spread too thin, just a few that have the people you want to ATTRACT.

Then find a way to get your user name and real name to show up on a Google Search. Now I finally realized I need to do the same thing on YouTube, duuhhhh! I didn't do that right away because I have had my YouTube account longer than my user name, but I am making headway. Today I just added another video and this time I put my picture on the title page, so they can see it even though I am not #1 yet in the search results. I did get on the first page fast, so as I add more it will improve (I think).

The bottom line is give people a reason to look for you and then make it easy for them to find you.

If you dont mind me asking how many referals do you have oldbuddy? I only have 7 and have my stuff on facebook and myspace but only have 7 referals which is ok but i'd like more and dunno where else I should post :/

You mean 425 referrals? That's just for Fusioncash. If I were to take the time to count all my referrals it would be well over 100,000, but I'm not going to do that.
