Why!?
« on: August 20, 2010, 11:25:10 pm »
Every time i go to the My Thought Counts survey, they tell me i don't qualify. Today, they asked me what disorders I have been diagnosed with and imediatly disqualified me when i clicked MDD and Insomnia. Do they do this to everyone!?  :bs:

I would suggest clearing out your cookies and cache before clicking on the survey.  Also, if you do not qualify on the first try select a different gift - this usually helps you to get qualified.  And yes unfortunately there will be some surveys that you do not qualify for but don't get discouraged this will not happen all the time.  Good Luck!

They're always looking for something different. It's not a good idea to lie when filling these things out. If the advertiser finds out you're using inconsistent answers, they could report you to FC. I got restricted from a video today because I was in the wrong age group! Oh well!

It really just depends what surveys they have left that day, some days its super easy to qualify and other days its tough, just keep trying!

Alot of times if you don't qualify it will ask if you would like to try another survey, it may take a few to get one that is matched for you but you just need to keep trying, it took me awhile to figure that out, but I got credit for 2 yesterday!

I rarely qualify for the surveys anymore. It's getting harder and harder to earn enough to even cash out!

I'm doing all I can to cash out...even if I spend a few dollars to get triple the amount back!

As everyone is saying in this post, the survey makers are looking for VERY specific characteristics to it's members.  One time, I qualified for a survey because I just happened to travel through New Hampshire on my way to my sister-in-law's graduation in Vermont.  That's how specific they can be.  They give you choices, but only want one type of characteristic.

I've also had issues with the surveys not just not qualifying but sometimes i can't even get to the stage to try to qualify.  I think the issue was i was using google chrome because it never worked when i did. so now when i do the daily surveys i always use internet explorer and I seem to get passed the 'qualifying' stage and so far i've only qualified for one survey.

I use Firefox and have not had any trouble with the crediting ever but if you don't answer the way they want you to, you will not qualify for the survey. Unfortunately, you never know what they are looking for on any survey so you just have to keep trying until you find one that you can qualify for. It helps a lot on crediting if you clean your cookies immediately before trying the survey and when you get the the end of it, leave the page open until you see that it has credited. This usually takes only a few minutes.

Sometimes  you can keep trying and may eventually be qualified.  Keep trying, don't give up.  And like others have said, clear your cookies out.

I would definitely try using Firefox if you're having problems. It's the only browser I use, and I've never had problems with the surveys crediting or freezing up.
