Help with Firefox/Mac
« on: January 19, 2008, 07:38:02 am »
Hello Everyone,

This is OT to Fusion Cash but Im quessing the experienced will be able to help me with this.  I signed up with Global Test Market and started doing their profile surveys yesterday.  When the screen with the questions would pop up they would be full screen.  I logged in this morning to continue and I have scroll bars on the right and bottom of the screen making it very difficult to get through the surveys efficiently.

I have looked in Firefox Preferences to see if there is something I can do and come up blank.  I tried reducing the font and that doesnt help either.  I did a search on Firefox Help, came up with nothing, but Im not exactly sure what I am looking for. I also went into system preferences to see if anything could be done there and again, blank.

I am new to Firefox and am working on a Mac which is new to me also.

Any help is very appreciated.  TIA

I usually have that problem with some survey pages when I do it with firefox on my Mac...I guess that the best solution can be using either Opera or Safari when your doing surveys. These browsers make it easier for you to view and do survey's,for there is also a few of those survey sites that firefox dont allow to even submit - well its what I have encounter at times.

Update.  My son helped me figure it out.  Just in case anyone else comes across this, you can extend the screen by selecting the corner and pulling in the direction you want it to go.  I did this, and then the next screen came up back to normal. :)  My kids work with Macs at school so they know all the tricks.  Thank god, because i was ready to pull out my hair, lol.

I tried the Safari browser, it was doing the same thing, but thank you for the advice.  I also figured out how to get through the profile surveys faster.  By clicking on your enter button instead of using your mouse it switches to the next screen faster.
