Yes the bible says though shall not kill,,, so what about your family in the army?? Is it okay just because the government told them to kill is that okay? Kinda double standard on this one don't you think?
If you do not like the idea of abortion do not think of it. I am glad women have the choice! In all due respect rape,,,, would you have a child out of rape? Would you carry this baby in your body and give the child away after birth just to have the child grow up, find you and you tell them you were a rape baby?

It's easy to say what you would do until you have been faced with the scenario.  I have a toddler that I am wholeheartedly in love with, but the weeks until I got my period after I was raped were some of the scariest of my life, because it was the first time I ever considered abortion an option...and I would have done anything I could have possibly done to terminate that pregnancy.  Luckily, I did not get pregnant.  I have known a few women, though, that did become pregnant as a result of rape.  Some chose abortion, some chose to have the child and raise it, and some decided to carry the pregnancy but then had a miscarriage.  For anyone to try to speculate what they would do would be wrong.  No one ever knows what they would do.  I'd be willing to bet, too, that many (not saying all, but many) of those who fight abortion rights so vehemently would be the first in line should they be faced with that scenario.  The sadistic part in me would actually feel vindicated to see a clinic protester have to walk through the protests into the clinic.  You never know what you have until you've lost it...and this right is one of the most paramount to women's freedoms, I believe.  It should be treated with respect.
