How do you know when you are really done having kids?

What would you suggest to someone that is thinking about having another child but are unsure?  I am not sure what to tell them. Any help?

dont know how to tell them, But I knew I was done having kids when the nurse woke me up after my vasectomy.

i think that when you are annoyed with them, then that'll be a factor of it haha

I actually agree with the previous poster lol I used to be a very patient person but not so much anymore. I am 30 now and have been thinking about having another child but I am afraid I wont be the same as I was with other kids   

Maybe it's because I am really stressed out on a daily basis at least I hope that's it

Kids are great futune but takes a lot of work so if you don't think you are able to handle the responsiblity it would be the time to know.

 ultamitly it is up to that person.but you know when your done. i have four kids and i always wanted four so i am happy. now would i like more? sure. but i don't want to carry them. it hurts my body to much.how old is your friend? how many kids does he or she have? if it is only one i usualy tell people that they should have one more. children should always have a sibling. i hope this helps you? stay a supportive friend.

I knew I was done after one. She is 4.5 years old and I can't see changing my mind about that.
