It might not be as hotly anticipated as one of the Twilight novels, but the Texas Republican Party has released its 2010 party platform. And the gays have at least the equivalent of a chapter dedicated to them.

But consider this work of literature a tragedy. That's because the 2010 GOP platform in Texas literally supports laws that criminalize sodomy, and also suggests that straight people who support same-sex marriage should be penalized with jail time.

Texas, Uganda. Uganda, Texas. I think you two will really hit it off.

Do you really think that there are enough people, who care enough about someone else's rights to go get shot at, to make an army?

Oh man....that's hilarious.

Texas and the GOP...seriously, what else could you expect? I'm not surprised in the least.

Uh no.  I was being sarcastic.  The idea of this ticks me off though.

My favorite part is when someone is so against gay people,  then it turns out he has hired a male prostitute.

I simply do not see anything to be proud of....what...you're abnormal?, You're weird? You can't get along with the opposite sex? YOu were born wrong.? You're brain is wrong? I do not congratulate you on your gayness. Stick it !

Different is the key word here. It is said 4-5% of the population is gay so of course it's abnormal. That's not a bad thing-- these people weren't born wrong because that relies on a definition of what a culture views as wrong. Now look at the history of homosexuality-- most of it involves punishment and death for no decent reason (usually due to religious junk). And for the most part it still exists as this threads OP posted. For the first time in recent history gays have been able to avoid punishment and death at the hands of the gov't and hateful people (unless those people do it under the radar). They're proud of that.

when I think of 'faggots' I only see the light bulbs and vibrators and many other things that have had to be surgically removed from these assholes (no pun intended).

I imagine you do see that a lot in the gay community, but straight people do that weird stuff too (ahhh the internet and it's many crazy forums). That and you're making a generalization; not all gays do that.

There's a reason that particular orifice is not made for entry, it's made for stuff to come out of, not go into.

It's their body though. Not yours. Just like the heteros, they wouldn't do it if it didn't feel good. You just have to deal with it due to your profession. That sucks.

Yeah...what's that one priests name who was a spiritual adviser to George Bush when he was in office? He ended up hiring male prostitutes right before his sermons and then he'd go out and preach against homosexuality. Hipocrisy of epic proportions!
