Shop At Home Toolbar Offer
« on: April 12, 2010, 01:04:20 am »
So, I completed the shop at home toolbar offer, and I received credit just fine. I just have to say that it is a very irritating toolbar to have at times, I find when I come to fusioncash and even select other sites it not only pops up -which is okay- but it reroutes me to a new page... For example, I was just browsing in the forum and the shop at home toolbar popped up and then took me back to the main offers page when I clicked on page 2 of a thread. I really don't understand how to keep it from redirecting me, I don't think it could be anything else but the toolbar, because I have ran a full virus and spy-ware scan on my laptop numerous times, the toolbar is not a threat, it is just kind of irritating when I am redirected when I am about to make a post.

Does anyone else who completed this offer have this issue and have any advice? I do not want to uninstall it because I don't want to lose credit. But it seems to be causing me some serious issues!

Thanks for the advice, I use firefox, and even when I "disable" it to view without it for a bit, it still manages to come up regardless of that! So I don't know whats going on with it!

I signed up with the Shop At Home Toobar!
I found it to be anoying and obtrusive. Also it is laden with
viruses. I did a computer scan on my computer and it deleted it!
And I haven't lost my credits for it either.

Maybe I will go to the settings and then see about disabling it , it all ready shows as disabled in firefox but pops up anyway.. I had no problem with it having a virus, like I said I ran a virus scan on the program and a full system scan (doing all the offers and downloads, etc I do at least one scan a day just to be safe). I know if you uninstall things you can lose credit, which I don't want to do. I am pretty sure when you download it you agree not to uninstall the software, at least I know its that was for most of the offers.

Thank you for all the information. I was going to install the toolbar, but change my mind now.

It isn't an issue that is affecting everyone, so it may not cause you any trouble. Also as stated above someone isn't having any problems on IE , but I am on firefox, it could just be they're not a good mix, I don't know!  :peace:

I got credit for this offer.

You can remove it after you get credit.

I know in most offers it states that you agree not to remove/uninstall the toolbar/program that you downloaded, not sure if that is the case with this one or not, you are only supposed to complete offers you are interested in completing when it comes to stuff like this (I am pretty sure). The toolbar would be fine if it wasn't causing me issues! :)
