NBA Playoffs
« on: April 25, 2010, 05:42:53 pm »
Is it just me, or does it seem like these series take way too long? Some games have like 2 days in between, and championships aren't till June...do others feel the same way? if so, do you like/dislike this? Granted, the series are fun to watch this year, so that's good!

I agree with you. I hate having to wait three days in between playoff games.  And not just the playoffs, the regular season seemed to drag on and on. It felt that way to me because odds are that either Cleveland, Orlando, or LA are going to win the title and that makes the regular season feel meaningless. The only thing good about the 7 game series is that they provide a decent sample size in determining who the better team is compared  to football where everything rides on just one game. The undefeated Pats were a better team than the Giants but it was the Giants who won that day. In a seven game series, New England would probably win. The NBA playoffs feel like an eternity, but for a good reason.
