Stanley Burgess R.I.P. Feb. 1980

Engine 57 R.I.P.

On October 26th, 2006, the San Bernardino California National Forest suffered a tremendous loss during the Esperanza Fire. Tragically, all five members of Engine 57 perished in the fire while on assignment; Captain Mark Loutzenhiser, Engineer Jess McLean, Assistant Engineer Jason McKay, Firefighter Pablo Cerda, and Firefighter Daniel Hoover-Najera. The Del Rosa Hotshots, along with the rest of the San Bernardino National Forest, attended all five funerals and the public memorial with the families of the fallen. It is important that we learn from the incident to move forward, but never forget the events of the past.

Those who have fallen will always be with us on the fireline

I'm not very good with prayers but i'll give you some interesting scriptures to help you out!!! the following verses are from NWT until noted other wise.

Resurrection of the righteous and unrighteous (Acts 24:15)

5 “Happy are the mild-tempered ones, since they will inherit the earth.(Matthew 5:5)

16 As regards the heavens, to Jehovah the heavens belong,
But the earth he has given to the sons of men. (Psalms 115:16)

10 Let your kingdom come. Let your will take place, as in heaven, also upon earth. (Matthew 6:10)

1Then I looked, and there before me was the Lamb, standing on Mount Zion, and with him 144,000 who had his name and his Father's name written on their foreheads. (Revelation 14:1 NIV)

6Blessed and holy are those who have part in the first resurrection. The second death has no power over them, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with him for a thousand years. (Revelation 20:6 NIV)

So your loved ones if they get chosen are either going to rule with Christ for 1,000 years or be in a paradise earth with everyone that they knew and loved. Either way your loved ones have something to look forward to. Hope this helps ^_^
