Car Insurance Quote offer is Contradictory

Anyone else confused about the auto insurance offer in the Extra Offer Section?  The offer reads:

No agents, no phone calls, no spam-- click here to get instant, free car insurance quotes from 15 top carriers online now!
Complete the full form and successfully reach your Quotes page to receive cash.

But when I click on it a pop up says that if I am not willing to get phone calls I cannot get credit for the offer.  When I check the box that says I don't agree to phone calls it sends me to a page with people I can call, but I will not be able to put in my info for the quote.

I am really looking for offers for auto insurance, but I don't want 20 phone calls, I want to see the quotes and decide if I want to call them.  Anyone else done this offer?

I did one of those and it said I could get an online quote, no one would call, after puting in all my info, at the end of it, it gives me links to 3-4 more companies (where I would have to put all my info in again) said someone would contact me shortly, about 15 minutes later an agent DID call. I gave them more information, they called back again with my quote. After ALL the  I still DID NOT get credit for the offer.

I did read that Admin said you can request credit it you do not get it for these offers (you cannot on the regular ones.)  I do not remember how she/he said to do it but you might want to look for that thread.  I think it was in the original thread that introduced these offers.

You can request manual credit on these "special offers" in the "Check Offer Status" section.

Great information. I think I did one like this in the past when I was shopping around before renewal time. Got 4 or 5 calls with quotes but no credit.  Renewal is coming up again soon so I think I'll give it another shot.

I wouldn't bother with the car insuracne offers. After you enter all your info they don't give you a quote you don't get credit, and then they tell you that they will call you shorty. Waste of time.
