how many steps do you take a day?

I just recently got a pedometer and shocked at how few steps I take compared to the recommended 10,000 daily.
The weather is so bad I guess I will just have to walk around the house all day and then I don't think I could ever get that many steps in a day.

You have made me curious about how many steps I take in a day.  I have a pedometer somewhere....time to go look for it

I try to take 10,000 steps a day.  Now that the weather is a little colder I take between 5,000 and  7,000 steps atleast 5 days a week.  That is not including steps around the house.  I don't keep my pedometer on in the house.  Maybe I should to see exactly how much I walk around doing things inside.
