The WORST neighbors

Well, all my neighbors are ok but a couple of houses down this really religious family always have gatherings in which they kill a chicken...

I had some neighnors in hampton virgina who were horrible. They would play loud music until 3-4 in the mroning.  Then complain if I ask them to turn it down.  They even had a port a potty in their yard.

I find that whether you are a good/bad neighbor is very subjective. I don't usually have a problem with my neighbors because I live with the belief Robert Frost espoused in "Mending Walls", good fences make good neighbors. Although, there was this time when I was in my late teens when my family lived in a condo where the neighbors hated young people. They complained about everything we did. It was ridiculous when the neighbors called the police to report that we had the TV on too loud at midnight. A police officer showed up at our door and we awakened to the sound of someone knocking on the door. Needless to say, there was nothing on in the house as we were all asleep at the time.

we had neighbors who everytime we were outside doing are yard work or just walking are dogs around our  yard, they would pull out there lawn chairs and go sit in there front yard and watch us, it was really creepy... so so glad when they moved..

We have neighbors who make it their mission to monitor what goes on in MY backyard. We once made a woodpile from trees we cut down and they called the police because they didn't like the looks of it! Mind you, these people have a yard full of broken down cars, piles of junk, dilapated old buildings and smelly, squawking chickens! They keep throwing up all these lean-to buildings and shacks, and they have to nerve to complain about a woodpile. Why didn't someone warn me about this??!!

Wow some of you guys have some really horrible neighbors.  When I first posted this I had horrible neighbors, but have since moved and am happy to say have awesome neighbors. It is a nice change from before.

Every year for their high school homecoming, my kids would go out and "toilet paper" their friends homes, and in turn ours would get tp-ed as well. It was all in good fun, but every single time anyone came near my house, my phone would ring and it would be my neighbor. She'd tell me she was looking out the window and saw people so she yelled at them to go away. I never asked her to or thanked her, yet she always would end the conversation with "you're welcome." Glad only one of my kids is approaching high school and that'll be the end of it.. I hope

my neighbors are pretty cool, but my brother and his family live next door to some crazy people. The mother lets her 5 year twins play outside by themselves everyday while she takes a nap. The little boy will get into his dad's tools and start playing with his drill and chasing his sister around the yard. I wish my brother and his family could move.

I think I'm the one who may be the "worst neighbor".  We live in a suburb where most of the folks are retired and can spend hours in their yard and maintaining their property to include making sure there are no weeds growing out of the crevice where the street payment meets the curb (who has time to groom this?).  Anyway when I look at my "let's do bare minimum just to cut the grass so the city doesn't give us a warning" yard and their immaculately cared for lawns, I often think even I wouldn't want to be living next to me.  My husband and I both work long hours and the last thing we want to do at the end of the day or give up our weekend time doing is yardwork.  Blek!  If you're my neighbor, sorry!
