The government won't create a job from millions and pay for it. Say you make $35,000 per year for 1 million americans...Thats $35 billion we don't have.

Yeah but they will take out billions and even over a trillion to give to a small handful of companies who failed at their job and were headed out of business hehe. 35$ Billion is like a big mac compared to the amount of money they gave away to these corporations for the bailout. The government doesn't create jobs, but it is supposed to help maintain an environment where growth and jobs are possible. Inflating the cost to run a business, consolidating into fewer larger corporations, raising taxes on small business owners, rewarding financial advisers and lenders who make bad decisions, etc. this is all contributing to the fraud and bad economy, its people who exploit these things, but its the government who protects those who exploit, and even rewards them in most cases. The Federal Reserve actually doesnt even answer to Congress, thats why there is a bill introduced which is to Audit the Fed, since we really have no clue what they do behind closed doors, and they say they dont have to answer. Bernanke etc. feel they can just print billions in bailouts, and give random numbers "something really high" and have no need to explain the reasoning, then they adjust the inflation/interest rates as well single handely and without oversite.

This is hopefully going to change if the bill is passed...

and The Federal Reserve is NOT part of the Federal Government. Just as Federal Express is not a part of the Federal Government. They are nothing more than a name. It is run by private bankers who hold the most interest in the Federal Reserve, Google it and you can find the exact banks (JP Morgan, Chase,  Rockefeller etcIn particular,

Quote
neither the Federal Reserve System nor its component banks are owned by the US Federal Government.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Federal_Reserve_System

Twelve regional privately-owned Federal Reserve Banks located in major cities throughout the nation, which divide the nation into 12 districts, acting as fiscal agents for the U.S. Treasury, each with its own nine-member board of directors.

True, technically it isn't owned by the US government.  But it is not a private, profit seeking organization either.  It is a so called "independent" institution within the government that has private aspects.

But let's be realistic, the people who are really in charge of The Fed (the Board of Governors) are appointed by the President and approved by the Senate.  Each of the nine-member board directors you mention have three members who are appointed by the Board of Governors.  The Fed is supposedly subject to oversight by Congress -- and I say supposedly given more recent events.  No stock in any Federal Reserve Bank has ever been sold "to the public, to foreigners, or to any non-bank U.S. firm." Etc. etc.

I think it's a bit of a stretch to call it a private organization, but correct, it was a mistake to portray it as an official branch of the federal government.  I don't think we can really pretend Obama and Bernanke are enemies.

:icon_rr: Is there any good news to report! That's all you here on the radio station's and the News. Unemployment is at an all time high at 12% - 8-9 million American ( White, African-American, Latin-American, Pink, Purple) out of work, who cares what color you are...we need JOBS!

Here is my American Stimulus Package Proposal:

1.We as American's need to treat our politician's just like an employer would do when you first start a new job. You got 60-90 days to prove you can handle this job - if not, your a$$ is out of here! NEXT!!!

2. All the 8-9 million American people that's out work and including myself, should march on Washington DC or U.S. Capital and demand our government to create jobs and start rebuilding America again...I bet you we will have jobs by tomorrow morning!

Well first of all, the nations unemployment DROPPED from 10.2% to 10% this month...Don't know where your getting your facts from but they are wrong. The worst of the recession is over.

1. Employers do that already...are you stupid? If you are still doing bad at your job after 60-90 days they let you go...You should know this being an adult

2. You are an idiot. By marching to Washington and demanding jobs do you think they will just hand them to you? Thats a hell of a lot of money to dish out, and it is useless to the economy. Government spending doesn't help a recession, it only causes short term inflation, just as the stock market is doing now. It has risen 25% in the last year, which is useless. The government won't create a job from millions and pay for it. Say you make $35,000 per year for 1 million americans...Thats $35 billion we don't have. If you knew simple economics and had some common sense you would know both of your 2 solutions are equivalent to an elementary kid's opinion on the economy. They offer no such solution and just a crazy idea.

Wait one minute, "YOU DON"T KNOW ME WELL ENOUGH TO CALL ME A _ IDIOT! if you have to use harmful words to try and hurt me in some sort of way just to get your point across...You can forget it, I'm not a weak man!

Come on down to Chicago (IL) where I live and I'll show 12% or more Unemployment rate.  Homeless shelters are full to the roof, people are being turned away, crime rate has tripled, teenagers are killing one another left and right 24/7, drugs, food pantry lines are wrapped around the building with people needing food to put on the table, churches are unable to help the community - for ever 10 jobs opening, thousand are applying for them. Is this enough Facts for You! If not, then maybe you have a problem.

Here's a little advice for you, take it or leave it...turn the news off - put the news paper down - And go talk to the people that's out of work or just lost their home. This is where I get my information from the working class or unemployed, you should try it some time - you might learn something!

As for my common sense, that I got plenty of! I guess you think it's okay to ship billions to "Iraq" for a war we might not never win. How would that money best serve our education system of building new schools, repairs, more teachers etc (common sense #1) - building better roads and bridges which mean more jobs (common sense #2) - America needs to start manufacturing, creating our own goods again (common sense #3) I could go on but what would be the point _ I'm a idiot like you said!

If man is to serve God, that mean the government is to serve the people, this is why we hold elections. The people didn't make this mess we're in - the people didn't start a war - the people didn't crash the stock market - the people didn't rob the retirement funds, you know the person who did that - Yeah! I could go on but_ I'm a idiot!

Who got us in a war and spending billion's: the Government - Who let the Banks do what Hell they wanted: the Government - Who let our Education fall apart: the Government - Who gave million's to greedy Corporation to throw parties: the Government - Who suppose to get us out of this mess, it sure ain't the people: The Government

Maybe you think it's useless to try do something about changing they way our government has ripped this country apart...but I will not sit idly by and do nothing! Oh I forgot_I'm a idiot!

Yes, I still be nice even when someone else isn't so nice when choosing their words!
