When I was a kid, I didn't really believe, although my parents never told me otherwise.  Just a skeptical kid i guess?

i believed in santa when i was a kid and would never deprive my children of santa two of three love santa( the other is only 4 months) I found out from my mom when i was older about the truth and my dad didn't know i was told so it was really loving when he went out to make me think he came christmas eve i appreciated having  that as a kid i didn't feel deceived. technically it is not a lie there was a man named saint nicholas who was a very giving man. My kids will know it is the birth of jesus christ and know of santa

I did believe and my parents allowed it.  I'm not sure when I stopped believing.
Yes, I do 'lie' to my children about Santa and I do use the threat "Behave, Santa is watching."
I don't see anything wrong in letting children believe in a little bit of magic, they're only children for a small amount of time.

My parents never told me about Santa, just that it was a lie, and I do not feel like I missed out at anything...maybe I don't know cause never experienced that. I still haven't thought about what I want to tell my kids though, its difficult to decide.

Yes, I was told there was a Santa Claus, and I also told my kids he was watching them too.
Do I still believe? Well I'll ask you the same question I asked my kids when they wanted to know; and you can decide for yourself. Who really knows if your bad or good and if your sleeping or awake? I believe that there's a little Santa Claus in all parents.
No i don't regret it, because for a brief moment life was just that simple in a world full of confussion. Merry Christmas everyone!!!

If you don't wish to lie, then celebrate on September 11th, as that is the true date of Jesus' birth according to the Bible itself (and converted into the modern day calendar).

When I was a kid I wanted to believe, and I didn't even think about how he got into our house and brought us presents or anything.  I guess I was gullible too I believed in the Easter Bunny and the Tooth Fairy too.  I let my kids believe too as long as they want to but if they want to know the truth I'll tell them that too.

This is the way I handle my kids if they ask I will not lie to them. But is it is harmless why mess with it. I did believe in Santa when i was a child as many kids do I also believed in the the tooth fairy and La Llorona lol She still scares the heck out of me. For those that aren't from a Hispanic background La Llorona is a myth I guess you could call i Im not sure but it is said that she appears by rivers and such I don't know the wholes story. But as i always say better safe then sorry. ::)

Santa is the magic of chirstmas not necessarily a real person. Yes. I have told my 2 year old daughter that santa might bring her this or that. especially when we are somewhere else and she wont let the toys go.
