Are ceiling fans "out" for kitchen lighting?

I love my kitchen fan in my kitchen.  I don't think they are out of style, but then I think for myself.  Am not a follower.

We Have one in every room and the kitchen but no in the house uses them anymore. When it's hot, we just use the air conditioner.

I still like ceiling fans and don't care if they are out of style, as far as for a kitchen it depends on the size because it is good for circulating air
