As a Celtic fan, I know who I WANT to win - and I think they have about a 50/50 shot with that suffocating defense that they play. But those with a less biased and more objective point of view - who do you have winning the 2022 NBA Finals?

As a Knick fan you know i dont care for the Celts.Years ago i got tired hearing about them from my bro and a few friends when they had Bird.
I do the fantasy stuff but from sheer rooting im rootin for GS.
I like play-off hockey much better and i am a Ranger fan and they are doing good so far.2 more tough foes to win the cup tho.Ill be watching tonight in less then an hr as they play a tuff TB team well-rested.

I am a big Celtics fan as well, so that's a lot of fun.

Warriors baby in the house.
-
I think the warriors have the experience and will win it in 6 games

Ack! When are we EVER going to get something to fully agree upon 100%, you and I???
I am a big Penguins fan, so I am really not very pleased with or rooting for the New York Rangers at present! But good luck to YOU. If they do go to the Cup finals and do well, I will at least be happy for you.

Care to revise that prediction 48 hours later? I've been hearing a lot about the Warriors' experience before the series started. But I heard an interesting take. While the Celtics lack "Finals" experience - getting there after TWO seven game series and making a 24 point turn around in a 4th quarter against the experienced Warriors... I think they have all of the "experience" that they need.

The Knicks have been a woeful team for a longtime.
The Rangers look very promising now and the fans have suffered with them too.
I also am a Yankee fan and in football i am a Bears fan.I root for the Jets too.I was a Namath fan when they won Super Bowl 3.

I can respect all of that.
I suppose there is a reason why politics and religion are two of the general topics they typically say you shouldn't talk about...

Well lets face it.Overall politics and religeon have caused a lot of damage in this world thats why many shutdown or are not interested in them.
Many associate the bible with the destruction that religeon has caused in this world. But if we examine the bible any furthur we see that God warned us this would happen.
If you had a close friend that ALWAYS told you the truth, thed nexttime he spoke to you would you doubt them?Or are many so prideful that they cant take wise instruction?Pride is before a crash, how true is that?
Sports is great entertainment but sometimes we take that too far too.I know i have and have to remind myself and still be a good loser. The emotional sickness it can cause isnt worth it when our team loses.

Agreed. But I've found recently that the sports highs far outweigh the lows (for me anyway). If the Celtics lose this series to Golden State, I will be unhappy, but I won't be crushed. When the Pens lost to the Rangers, I was upset and in a bad mood. ...for about an hour.
That hasn't always been the case, but over the past decade or more, I tend to get over the defeats much quicker than in my youth.

I usually go with Celtics, not because they are my team but because I love the movie Celtic Pride. I'm from Utah so them kidnapping a Jazz player just made that movie that much funnier.

:clover:  :clover:  :clover:  Looking forward to game 4 tonight! Warriors are going to be playing pretty desperate to avoid going down 3-1. It won't surprise me if they even up the series, but I'm hoping for otherwise.

As I wipe the egg off of my face - congrats alina6 for the correct prediction. Even though I do not feel very thankful for it, I am giving you a FC forum thanks for the right pick.
