Title: Do you take pictures of your pet?
Post by: snuggleycutejc on July 11, 2017, 10:16:20 am
Today is All American Pet Photo Day! I had a pet, he was so photogenic that he made all things in photos that he posed in look much better, and bright; on the other hand, JC, I take a pic of her, she is photogenic not, you might say, 'what's that!'. lol, I love her. Do you go over-board on taking pet pic's? Have a gr8 day  :present:

I do take pictures of my pets but I certainly don't go overboard.   I take them when I feel like what they're doing is funny or cute.   My son lives thousands of miles from us so some of the pictures are to send to him.    Also the person I got our cat from has a little girl who didn't want to get rid of the kittens their cat had and I promised the little girl I would send her pictures regularly so she could keep with up the cat.

I take pictures of my cat because she is a part of the family; I don't look at her like an animal.

I do all the time. I have two dogs, a 9 year old pee-a-poo and a 1 1/2 year old boxer. I love taking pictures of them or videoing them when they are doing something silly. They are my sweet furry babies.

I definitely take photos of my pets because after they pass away....

the photos are a very important part of my healing process.  I need to look at them and remember how I felt whenever I saw them.

My daughter sends Snapchat pics of her cat to me nearly every day.  I'm so glad her husband agreed to let her take her cat home to live with them....he was her pet from when she was still living at home with us during her growing up days.

I take a decent number of pictures of my cats, but they are digital and just for me. I don't share them all.

As a person who really enjoys photography in my free time, I always am taking way too many photos of everything that I can. Pets are included, but my parakeet is not the most cooperative...lol.

Years ago my family had a painting done of my favorite golden retriever. I'm looking at it right now. Damn that was a good dog, my hiking buddy for 14 years. I could hike for 10 hours in a day with her off leash and never have the need to speak to her. Sill miss that dog.

I had a wonderful little puppy for a short while but due to things going on in my life I had to re-home him.  It broke my heart, but I took a number of pics while I had him.  Luckily, the people who took him know how much I loved and miss him and post on Facebook from time to time.  I have mixed feelings about seeing him because it both warms my heart and breaks it at the same time.  I bonded quickly with the little guy.  All in all, I'm glad I have the pics and videos I have.  I will probably keep them for quite some time.

No I don't but my son does - he takes pictures of our two cats and our little dog.  Sometimes he posts them on FB - he also takes videos of them sometimes for snapchat or something.  I don't have a smart phone to take good pictures so I leave the photography up to him.

I don't have "pets", my dog & cats are family members.  Not really sure how one goes "overboard" taking pictures of them.  I have alot of photos, alot of videos, much like most people do of their family members & memories.
