I do not but my mother does. She's cutting back though because cigarettes have increased in price here in Southern California. Good luck stopping smoking.
-
I also have the bad habbit of smoking. And im not going to lie, as of right now, im not trying to quit. Hopefully soon I will get that nerve to stop. Today is just not that day, sadly
-
No I do not smoke
-
good luck to you. i quit one month before I FOUND OUT i had breast cancer, and I've never gone back. It's too expensive, and it's such a health risk.

Smoking: Never did...never will!
-
No I don't smoke, thank goodness the curiosity never hit me.
-
Nope. I can't afford to do that, as I am a singer.
-
I used to. When my sister-in-law got lung cancer, I decided too quit. I just couldn't continue smoking when she was fighting for her life. It seemed disrespectful.
-
I do unfortunately! I really need to quit though!
-
I used to smoke but not anymore.I quit in 1993.
-
No smoking because it is not fun to do. It costs too much money. And that is painful.
-
yes I do and I know I need to quit
-
I quit Oct 24 2009. It was very difficult since I smoked almost 3 packs a day, but I did it and will never pick up a cigarette again.
-
no watched too many die from cancer

40 years of smoking is a long time, that can lead to a lot of health problems, I see commercials on TV and what smoking can do to your body, please don't do that to yourself and your body. My dad used to smoke for years and he stopped over 20 years ago, now he can't stand to smell the smoke or be around anyone who smokes.
-
I smoked on and off for many years had quit for two years straight when my husband passed away in 2013 I smoked a couple of packs but I was already having breathing problems and when my sons found out lol they had a spaz. So I quit and have never picked them back up. I understand the struggle I used to love to smoke. I will pray for God to help you.

I don't smoke, but I wish anyone trying to quit luck. I do want to make a point in saying if you want to quit for yourself (think of all the money you will save by quitting) then I think you will succeed. I think if you are trying to quit because your doctor has scared you into doing it for health reasons, you will fail. Most of the diseases out there attributed to smoking aren't caused by smoking. Case in point, my grandfather of 96years used spit tobacco most of his life. He was fit as fiddle with nothing wrong, not even mouth or throat cancer which is blamed on this type of tobacco. He actually died from complications from a fall. My mom was diagnosed with bladder cancer and my sister-in-law with breast cancer. Both of which never smoked a day in their life. So, if you want to quit do it because you want to, not because you were scared or bullied into it out of fear of developing some disease. I think if you were going to get a disease you'd get it regardless of whether you smoked or not.

Right from time, I just did not like it, the smoke and the smell it leaves on you,...Just did not like it!!
-
No, never was even interested.
-
Yes i do but have cut down. I think my nasal problems have been because of smoking. After 40 years its hard. Like the ecig use that sometimes. Now i look at my aunt who smoked til she was 73-74 and lived another 10 years so thats my excuse.
-
I smoked 2 packs a day for 40 years and did the cold turkey 3 years ago, my first try , all my friends still smoke and i let them smoke at my house and in my truck. I told them all I'd never be one of them people who ran people down for doing something that was ok for years and years. Also told them i'd tell them how i did it if they wanted to listen.

Nah I don't smoke is bad to smoke

:-X 8) Yes I do and have for a good 40 years also. I live in a house with 2 others that smoke too (my sis and bro-in-law).But my bro-in-law is seriously wanting to quit and I am so close to that point also. I wanna be around to spend time with my granddaughter. But yes, it is hard, well more so for some than others, to quit! I had surgery last summer and was in the hospital for a week, perfect time to quit right? I didn't even want one by the time I came home, but I also had no appetite so I stupidly thought that smoking would maybe bring that back. Well, it came back and I'm still a smoker. Not a proud one either. They are talking about raising the tobacco tax here (MT) by about $2.50 which is over my budget, I kind of hope they do and maybe it will be incentive enough for a bunch of us. :glasses-nerdy:

Oh very well said MichelleHW101!! I mean, it is true, people die from all sorts of things, a friend's husband just passed away from cancer, I believe he was in his early 40's and had never smoked. My dad smoked and lived to 86 and my Grandma to 96. Also, my ex's brother was a smoker, he quit and about 1 year later passed away from cancer. Ya just never know. :( I'm very sorry about your sister-in-law and mother though.

Yes i do smoke, not in the house though. Hubby smokes a lot and not in the house. Which helps me because i have never been a heavy smoker. I had just about licked it in 2001, then my so got cancer, nerves were shot and i went back to smoking. Hubby has prostrate cancer, has had for a few years now. It worries me a lot. But he has to terms with it and has put in the Lords Hands and is ready if and when he is called home.

No. Smoking doesn't do a body good! :bad:
-
I smoke like a pack a month. I get stressed and feel i need it blow through it in a couple days hate myself for awhile after that and stop.
-
Never smoked. And seeing my father die from smoking related cancer recently, never will.
-
I don't and thank myself for not starting that!
-
never smoked, have asthma and smoke is a trigger.....so I stay away from smokers. (I don't know how smokers can stand to have that smell on everything, their clothes, their cars, even their poor pets...it's so disgusting.)
-
I used to smoke 2 packs a day for many many years ... about 5 years ago I decided that I was going to slowly ween myself off of real cigarettes and use an e cigarette .. that took about 4 1/2 months .. I have not touched a real cigarette since April 15, 2012 but used nicotine in my ecig for the next several years.
In March 2016 I switched to a vaporizer using E juice and began cutting down the nicotine level. By August 2016 I was at 0 Nicotine ...
I still use my vaporizer here and there because I actually enjoyed smoking but am not addicted to the nicotine anymore. At some point in time I will ditch the vaporizer completely.
-
Nah, I quit years ago. The only time I ever smoke a cigarette is if I don't have my SNUS, which is a tobacco pouch you suck on and doesn't make a mess. No spit or anything. It's like sucking on a nicotine mint.
-
I have stop smoking now for 8 days .... go me ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
-
I do been smoking since I was 15, its a stupid habit but it is very hard to quit, gotta keep ttrying!
-
i was the only one in my family who didnt smoke. You couldnt pay me enough to ever smoke.
-
I don't smoke and I've never smoked, but that's my own choice. I do have some friends that smoke. And for those of you who have chosen to quit smoking, I must say I admire you a lot. I know that it can be such a challenge. You show some remarkable willpower in the choice, so I want to give you appreciation and applause!
-
No I do not smoke I quit about 15 years ago I think.
-
I've never smoked. I have to admit there is something appealing about it, but the actual smell of it second hand makes me choke so much that I've never felt the need to light one of my own. Plus yknow, cancer

I smoked a few cigarettes in college, but as soon as they put a warning on the label, I couldn't do it any longer. My uncle was a tobacco farmer. I still remember how it looked and smelled in the barn where he hung up his tobacco to dry. Back then, you never knew that smoking could be bad for your body. When I learned the facts, for me, it didn't make sense to continue.
