I have Netflix but I am considering Hulu but I'm not sure what the difference is really. Which one do you recommend?
-
I Have Netflix and Hulu. I like both, but I love Netflix because of the movies and I love to binge-watch Bob's Burgers
-
we use netflix...have never used hulu
-
We have Netflix, and I enjoy watching all the different movies on there, but I have heard Hulu has things Netflix doesn't
-
I love Netflix, but I tried Hulu and didn't like all the commercials when I pay to watch.
-
I tried Hulu a very, very long time ago but I thought it paled in comparison to Netflix also doesn't it have commercials which Netflix doesn't. I have had Netflix for years and think it is the best of all of them.
-
I have Netflix. I hate the Hulu commercial interruptions. But that was a very long time. I still think they offer commercials still. It charges you about the same as Netflix but have commercials. I prefer Netflix.

Can I pick "none of the above"? Never tried Hulu. Did Netflix several years ago when it was still a DVD by mail service and they were just introducing the video streaming service. It ended up being too expensive for our usage patterns.
Last summer we signed up for Amazon Prime. It made the most sense for us. We are frequent Amazon buyers (I average about $30-50 a month in Amazon gift cards as payment from some GPT sites and apps that don't pay out via PayPal). So the free 2 day shipping that Prime provides along with the video content made it the best option.
I was able to binge watch some TV shows last year -- Sopranos and Downton Abbey, neither of which I had ever seen before. There are plenty of other shows and movies available from Prime that I want to see and rarely have the time - so I'll never run out of content. I also added an Amazon FireTV stick to turn one of our regular TVs into a smart TV. That adds access to iHeart Radio and TuneIn radio which allows me to listen to a few favorite out of town radio stations through the TV.
But I have to say that if not for the free shipping on Amazon purchases, I probably wouldn't have any streaming TV.

netflix

I have always liked Netflix because they have so much you can watch but I never cared too much for hulu because of the ads.
-
I like both actually. Hulu seems to have the newer stuff. And Netflix has the British mysteries/comedies I enjoy.
I do wish Netflix would stop removing some shows though, the streaming service I mean, they recently removed Mash/and Magnum.

for new shows hulu. for everything else netflix..
-
We use Netflix. I guess it is OK.
-
I like them both, but I think Netflix has more to offer. Hulu is another great service that continues to expand its options. Honestly, if you can afford it, I'd recommend both. Maybe you can get in on some kind of free trial first to see if it's worth it to switch for you. Good luck.

I have Netflix and I love it. They have great original content and movies. It's easy to catch up on my favorite programs when I get a change. I've thought about Hulu because I loved The Mindy Project when it was on Fox but haven't made the commitment.

I have only used Netflix...
-
Netflix for sure! I like movies more than TV shows!
-
Hulu has current shows. Minimal movies. They do have series archives.
Netflix has archive series. Movies.
Two different animals. If I had to choose one, I would choose Netflix, more variety...
-
I have to go with Netflix. I love the fact that there's more to choose from than on Hulu and they have more current shows. They’re also more accessible though my tv than Hulu. I also like their original shows much better than the ones Hulu does.
-
I never tried Netflix so I cannot speak for it. But I heard it's a good alternative to cable TV. I tried the free version of Hulu and loved it since I can watch lot of classic tv and classic movies that are no longer shown on tv that I have not seen for a very long time.
-
I have netflix and I really like it, I never tried hulu.
-
Just personally I didn't think Hulu was as good as Netflix. I think hulu if I remember correctly has commercials which netflix doesn't - I have tried all of them including Amazon prime but I have stuck with netflix for years.
-
I like the Hulu better, but I like the Netflix DVD plan overall. Netflix doesn't stream everything that I want to see (and Hulu actually has some cool movies on it).
-
Id say Netflix since they monopolize alot of shows that you can only get from them
I dont have either tho
-
i have netflix and hulu and i love them both
-
I have Hulu and Netflix both. I use Hulu more often, but I like them both for different reasons! Like "aflyingmonkey" said; they are two different animals!
-
I have both but prefer Netflix.
-
Netflix since I'm in Canada so I can't even GET Hulu or Prime without signing up for a US proxy site which means more money to spend that I don't have right now.
-
I have had Netflix for only a couple of years, but I've been very impressed with it. At first, I thought I might miss not being able to watch current episodes as easily (I still have cable, but it is very basic; mostly to get the cable internet), but since I've been using it, I've realized that Netflix has so much to watch that I wouldn't be able to also watch more recent stuff too. And I also enjoy being able to binge-watch one particular show instead of having to wait for the next week's episode, so with Netflix airing shows a year later actually becomes a benefit for me. Thus I think Netflix is the best.
-
I would get both. Hulu has more recent shows, whereas Netflix has a lot more movies and such.
-
I have never tried Hulu so I don't know anything about this. I have had Netflix and enjoyed watching several TV shows and movies.
-
I use netflex just cause I have been with them longer.
-
I like Netflix the best. I have gotten the free trial for hulu and amazon prime a few times but never keep it past the free trial.
-
I only have Netflix and I love it.
-
I have neither. I have amazon prime. I wouldnt recommend it overall. I am thinking of giving hulu a try.
-
I would say I like Netflix better.
-
I did a free trial of Netflix several years ago and liked it. I found movies on there I couldn't find elsewhere (mostly foreign films). I've heard since then that Netflix has pulled a lot of their selection. Never tried Hulu, though.

Hulu when I can afford it.
