i like bidz alot be patient on your bidding i got lots of rings and things from bidz they are all real but add 3 dollars for each item you win for shipping and look over the description carefully some stuff is plated...but still good stuff. i bought stuff before fusion was giving 20 dollars for a purchase. :BangHead:... :crybaby2:....go try it you'll be addicted!!!!

Would you recommend this site to buy things for resale then? It looks very promising.

My experience wasn't such a happy one - I won an item for $5 and it cost $10.95 in shipping!!!! I tried to find info on the shipping but couldn't find anything so I went with DGJW's advice about adding the $3.00 to the item, but this particular item was off that amount.  Don't know how other items work or if that is the standard s/h charge.

I found this abut S&H. I suppose getting a 300 dollar item for 5 bucks it would be worth paying 11 bucks in S&H but I suppose it really depends on the item. I am kinda cheapie when it comes to shipping myself.

I agree with you.  Many times s/h charges are so inflated and to me, anyway, the item was not worth it since I was basically doing it to complete the offer on FC.   Oh well   ;D

Will you be able to resell it on ebay maybe for a profit?

I ordered from them a few years ago..waaaaaaay before FC. And I was totally happy with my product. The reason why S&H is so high on their products is b/c it's Jewelry & there is insurance involved. Meaning that if it is damaged, lost & such during shipment, it will be replaced or refunded if you contact bidz.com within 48 hours! That's the note I got in my email when I won my item. Of course, that was a few years ago and terms may have changed there. But my experience w/them was great & I would most certainly bid one of their auctions again!

I just went to the website and it looks pretty cool and exciting. I am going back to it once I get some money. I think I should try something new for a change. Its looks like it'll be a whole lot of fun.

It is addicting to look over all the jewelry they have. And I do see they accept PAY PAL on the bottom. I think perhaps for Christmas I will look over some items. And perhaps some to resell. And the 20.00 from FC would be nice :)

I was wondering... Is there any way to guess what the shipping and handling would be on an item before you bid on it?

Your S&H depends upon the item(s) you are bidding on. Go to the S&H section of the site and it will tell you shipping policies & amounts.

yah .. s&h is usually $10 or around.. and you get charged processing fees for every item you send at the same time. if you have any doubts about the jewelry... check the details they give you, it has to be accurate since if they false advertise they can get sued. Personally, I wouldn't go too much for the retail prices they put on there.. since appraisals are very subjective.. check the info on the item and do your research, especially with diamonds! I like that site.. but that's just me!  :)

Did you have anything appraised to see if it matches close to what the certificate says?

I am happily awaiting my order to arrive ;D The Sh is high as others say, but best to cover what you buy. I don't know myself if it is worth it, but seeing others who have bought items seems like is it on the up & up.
