That is the holiday spirit.  I think you must be tire and excited too.  Have a good time with your family.  Wishing you have a nice Christmas and Happy New Year.

In my case, it is just the opposite! Take them to the airport ready for departure.

I had a wonderful Christmas Eve with My wife and two kids.  We went out for a nice dinner, went to a Christmas light show, drove through our neighborhood for an hour looking at all of the house decorations and came home to open presents...the kids were so grateful and happy!  Christmas day was a little different. I woke up at 3:30 AM and packed the car, grabbed the family and drove twelve and a half hours to my parents house. I had asked that one person be absent that evening because of some unscrupulous things he has done in the last three years and didn't feel that he was a good influence for my children. At eight in the evening he came walking through the door and I left so as to not create scene. I spent the next three hours by myself.

Nice....great to spend time with family for the holidays. Spending the day at the airport, picking up family members is a small price to pay for everyone being together. Have fun!
