Huge fan of the Warner Brothers cartoons, especially those with Bugs and Daffy Duck. Now that I'm a grown-up (ha ha) I get more of the jokes.

Classic, meaning before my time? Because some of the cartoons that were in syndication while I was growing up (in the late 80's and early 90's) would be considered classic to this new generation...Okay so, here are my favorites:
Bugs Bunny (Looney Tunes)
Mickey Mouse
Pop Eye
Betty Boop

Those were my favorites, too, plus Tom & Jerry and the Road Runner. I used to love Saturday mornings. Cartoons and the Lone Ranger, Hopalong Cassidy and during the week there was Have Gun Will Travel, Wyatt Earp, Gunsmoke. I was a tomboy.
I had the whole Have Gun Will Travel set. Too bad I don't have it anymore. It was neat. The guns & holster, badge, and even the "business cards" in the holder.
-
growing up, I like to watch woody woodpecker, thundersats, inspector gadget, the adventure of tintin.

I am in my mid-20s but my favorite classic cartoon is:
Scooby-Doo, Where Are You? and every cartoon including a Looney Tune (Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Sylvester and Tweety, etc.)
I am more of a "90s kid" so a lot of the remaining cartoons are probably not considered classic, but here we go, LOL:
Pretty much any classic Nicktoon (Doug, Rugrats, Ren and Stimpy).
There are ton more, but I would be here all day. ;-)

There are lots of cartoons I used to watch like Bugs Bunny, Tom and Jerry, Pink Panther, and those Hanna-Barbera cartoons to name a few. I miss some of those cartoons. Some of the cartoons today don't make sense to me.
-

Well hear I am telling my age. But I never saw a TV until I was 12. Not very many people had them out hear in the west. We moved to Ohio and my step grandparents had one. They weren't very good yet so I never watched cartoons. Then when I was fourteen dad bout one and I watched bandstand. Then of course came my boys and they watched cartoons. But I was busy all the time. Being married to farmer did not leave much time for TV. Now it is on but I am not watching, I am on the computer. To me the TV is on for noise.

You can't go wrong with good ole Bugs Bunny.
-
I grew up on Bugs Bunny and it is, in my opinion, a classic. The animation was great, the voices (mostly done by Mel Blanc) were fabulous, and it was stupidly funny. It came across on many different levels many of which I didn't "get" until I got older.
Similarly, the Flinstones was a great show because the humour was done on different levels so it could appeal to kids and to adults. It was one of the first animated prime time shows and likely the first animated "sit-com". It was one of the best of all time in my opinion.
-
Looney Tunes, Tom and Jerry

i loved the cartoon express
-
Scooby Doo, The Jetsons, Pink Panther, Tom and Jerry, Mighty Mouse, Flintstones, Smurfs, Chip n' Dale... There used to be a lot of good cartoons on. There were so many good ones to watch growing up. After the 90's though, cartoons really took a pretty big downturn in my opinion. A lot of the things kids were watching after then are just, well, crap. I feel bad for kids these days, they just don't know quality cartoons. lol
-
