Title: Wouldn't It Be Better if "Related Topics" Were Listed 'Newest First'?

Because all the topics that usually show up in the "Related Topics" are old and closed-to-new-posts  :sad1:

Is it just me, or would most people be more-interested in 'Related Topics' that are NEWER and AVAILABLE TO JOIN IN ON?

I like things the way they are. Everything is pretty much divided into sections of related topics, and it isn't too hard to find what you're looking for. And if there are threads you want to follow, make a post in them and it will show up in your posts list.

I'm thinking of the posts shown below the 'quick-reply'-textbox. I'm looking at most of the list right now, and they're ALL closed discussions ... which would be FINE if I wanted to use them for 'reference,' but not if I want to join a connected discussion!

I wish they would move all of the closed topics to one area. There's really no use having them still be amongst things if we can't reply to them.
