Title: Right is Right and Wrong is Wrong!
Post by: hdwilliams1973 on July 22, 2012, 03:28:31 pm
Today they took joe paterno statue down..i say good. some people have the nerve to say that was wrong. I say no what was wrong was him willing knowing about kids getting molested or rapped. how can a statue stay up of a person that "seen" in a matter of speaking, kids getting molested and turn the other cheek because of the pride and tradition of penn state. i say seen because he knew of it and if you know your just as the person committing that terrible act. i say it should not have even been a debate. yes take that statue down and lock that monster up for the rest of his natural life. f***k him! the nay sayers will never understand unless it happens in their own home! :icon_rr:

I am extremely proud of Penn State's decision to take down the statue!! It sends a great message out there that American Colleges will not stand for the BS anymore, and the victims of sexual abuse at an educator's hands will be heard and taken care of. No more pushing *bleep* under the rug, Penn State will be an example forever!!!

I am also glad that they took the statue down!  With him knowing what was going on and did nothing about it!  That is just WRONG!

I agree on all previously stated points. Football is a game, even if it is a highly celebrated game that ppl build their lives on and around and controls all sorts of money. However, all of that should be easily thrown to the wayside before a horrible crime perpetrated like this. Morality and humanity comes first as it should be and whatever fame that he enjoyed should be totally expunged from the books and history as far as I'm concerned.
