Busy Friday!
I'm happy to say that we once again have DAILY TASKS available. The interface for completing tasks has been improved, and now you get credited in smaller increments rather than having to do a whole "group" of tasks. Plus, there's a "piggy bank" that keeps your earnings stored even if you navigate away or close the browser. We hope that you find these tasks rewarding and we welcome your feedback.
Try it out and tell us what you think! (http://www.fusioncash.net/specialoffers.php)
That concludes December New Feature #4. Can you believe it? There's STILL more to come.
Did you miss Feature #1? FC Surveys are here: http://www.fusioncash.net/forum.php?topic=35800.0
Feature #2 is our awesome new Toolbar: http://www.fusioncash.net/forum.php?topic=35822.0
And Feature #3 is the cashback shopping mall: http://www.fusioncash.net/forum.php?topic=35838.0

These daily tasks are a pain but will definitely try out this new version. Sounds exciting... FC Admin's on a tear. Can't wait to see what else is up their sleeves.
-
Well since you say they are improved, I will give them another chance. I gave up on doing them all together a while back, they were way to repetitive and time consumer before. Hopefully you truely have improved them! Ill give them a try sometime and post my findings.
Wow I see 4 new features already and your saying there are still more to come?! Thanks FC!!!
-
Agreed with everyone above... Will give this a try again...
Hoping they are easier than before.
Thanks for continuing to improve your site!!

Just submitted my first task and waiting for it to credit (testing crediting). I like this system way better than the other one. It's more like the Amazon Turk tasks I work to beef up my Amazon.com account. For those who worked these tasks, don't fret over the lower money displayed - this structure will pay you for each submitted panel vs having to successfully submit 10 panels (or 5 on some other tasks). If you multiply the current task reward by 10, you'll see you still would be paid at least the same (if not a little more) than the old structure.
Reason I like this is if you only have time to work 3 pages, you still can get paid - you don't have to slog through all pages. So you can see if you like working a task by working one or two panels and get paid for working them vs being stuck having to spend an hour (for some of those tasks). Also, for those who frequently work these, you're aware that occasionally bugs get into the test keys which may have disqualified you mid-task. With this structure, you get credit for every panel you work up to the one that disqualifies you - so your work is not in vain. The old way you wouldn't get anything - would just have to submit feedback requesting your account reviewed and reset before trying to work it again.
Love this new change!
Only comment is in Firefox, the task window doesn't seem to have a scroll bar. Only way to get through the page is having to tab through the task. I know on some tasks the tabbing isn't always the greatest. Having a scroll bar would make navigating the task page easier. Will try in IE to see if it's just a FF thing. If there is no scroll bar - than that would be my suggestion for improving the interface (if it's possible).
Update - Just checked my account, and was credited $0.02 for the task I submitted. Everything seems to be working nicely here so far. Thanks much for this modification!

Thank you for the detailed feedback. The tasks window should now have scrollbars.

I have found them to be a pain as well

Definitely am going to check this out!!! I also gave up on them awhile ago. But little cents for little tasks...perfect!
-
I'm still pretty new to fusion - do the daily tasks come in an email or do you find them on the site?
Thanks for the help.
-
Thank you for the changes. I really appreciate the fact that Fusion Cash is always looking for ways to make improvements. Just another reason that I am glad that I joined. Will definitely check out the new features.
-
Wow I love how Fusion Cash are improving their site overall! I love being a Fusion-Casher! I'm more obligated to do Daily Tasks now.
-
I will try this new version of the daily tasks I have tried them before and they never panned out but it was because I could not access them maybe I will be able to now so I will diffently try them.

Admin....
I just tried doing one of the tasks (one I normally do when it's available) and I seem to have a glitch. It's the "Search for Terms and Record the Results" task, which involves going to Google, typing in the search term and clicking on the first result. However, when I do, it doesn't go to the website of the first result...instead it goes to "Free Cause's" search page. I believe this has something to do with the new toolbar, since it's powered by Free Cause. I know I'm doing the task correctly because I've done this one many, many times and never had this problem.
Can you look into it please? Thanks!
-
@Icekitty: I'm not an expert, but you may have clicked to allow the toolbar to replace your default search when you installed it. Depending on how the link was constructed this could result in going to the FreeCause search page. (on the bright side it's probably adding to your search count :))
I've done probably about 6-7 of these tasks so far and the interface is pretty good. It's shorter and more straightforward. The only thing that could be a little clearer is to indicate to us that we're entering into a "new task". For example, one of the task pays 7 cents for every 2 panes you clear. It should indicate to you a little better that you have completed your 2 panes and additional ones you complete will be counted toward another 7 cents.
I also have a comment about the European logo Daily Task. It's REALLY REALLY REALLY hard. Not too many of those stations are coming up in search. I even tried to take advantage of the system and go into the European Google sites, like google.de to get some of the German ones but was still unable.

@gafee2001.....
Now that I think about it, I think you're right. I remember having a problem when I installed the toolbar, because a box popped up giving me choices to either allow or not allow the toolbar to be used for searches, and I unchecked the boxes, but there was no "Ok" or "Submit" button and the pop up box wouldn't go away so I had to close down my browser. When I opened it back up again, the toolbar was installed.
This toolbar, unlike the others I have installed, doesn't the "Toolbar Options" when you right-click on it. I'm just wondering if I were to uninstall & reinstall if I would lose the current searches I've done? Admin, can you let me know the answer to this??

Whatever you're been credited will remain if you uninstall/reinstall. If you have searched for example 3 times out of the 4 necessary for a 1c credit, then you will probably lose just those 3 searches. Hope that makes sense...

With the holidays as busy as they are... trying to get all my knitting projects done and dealing with a blasted migraine..
I can't wait to try this out!!!!
Thanks FusionCash for working with us.. the members.. and making things to benefit us.
Tasks did seem quite overwhelming having to do so much.....
Thanks!!!

Sounds great. Thanks.
-
Thanks for making improvements. I usually did not have the patience for the tasks, but based on what you are saying I may give it another try.
-
Thank you for adding to and always improving Fusion Cash. I think it is a great site. I have been with you just over two years and I  the relationship. I am looking forward to another two years and maybe more.

I've done quite a few of these Daily Tasks (I'm excellent at the "Choose the best search results") and I must say this system is very nice.
I have a question though -- When will I be able to do the tasks that I've already maxed out again? Each day when I click on the tasks it says that I've already done all of the work that's available.

I think this varies depending on your success/accuracy rate and also it seems to vary from job to job. Short answer is that you just have to keep trying every few hours because the delay is not really predictable. I know it's not ideal but that's all I can recommend... otherwise just check it once a day and you should always be able to do it.

I haven't tried these yet, but I am very thankful for FC for listening to our feedback and creating a better experience for all users!

The experience I've had is that when you "max" one out, or "done all the work you can" on a particular task, that you have to wait until that particular batch runs out and they put up a new batch of a particular task. I have one in particular that I like to do, and when I get that message it usually will not let me complete any more until they put up a new batch.

okay, I've given it a shot and new tasks are awesome. Made $1.60 pretty easily today.
Thanks FC!

Thanks for letting me know about the new version of daily tasks. I appreciate all your time and efforts you put in for your members.

Admin.....
Ok, I finally got around to uninstalling/reinstalling the toolbar BUT, am having some strange issues. First of all when I uninstalled the toolbar it reinstalled itself!!! Then, the box that comes up that allows you to "customize" the installation didn't have a "submit" button at the bottom or anywhere (see image below), so therefore I didn't bother selecting "Custom Settings" and unchecking boxes for items I didn't want. The box is just cut off at the bottom....I can scroll down, but there's no "Submit" button at the bottom there either. The only way I could even get this box to go away was to restart my computer.
Just as a reminder, the reason I needed to reinstall was for doing the specific task "Search for Terms and Record the Results", which requires you to do searches in Google & Bing, but when I open Google and click on a result it takes me to a Free Cause search page and that's because I can't get the custom settings to "take" when I install the toolbar.
Now, I'm trying to do this in Firefox....does that have anything to do with it??
-
I'm not sure. That's a strange issue. I will pass it along to FreeCause for investigation -- but it's likely the fix will not happen until January (sorry! everyone's home for the holidays).

Ok, I'll wait until then. In the meantime, I may try to install it in IE to see if I have the same problem. Thanks for passing it along!! :notworthy:

Admin.....
Ok, I installed the toolbar in IE as well as reinstalled it in Firefox (again) and everything seems to be good now!!! I never even got the box that allows for custom installation. :dontknow:
If I have any more issues, I'll let you know. Thanks!

I just went to the "Daily Tasks" feature a few minutes ago, and saw that it had completely changed. Then I found this thread at the forum. Now I am soooo excited! Can't wait to give the new format a try. I really liked doing the old tasks, but you couldn't just sit down and do them when you had a few minutes. Maybe I was just slow, but they usually took me more than an hour to complete, so I had to plan ahead for picking a time to work on them. It was a challenge. But, after reading this thread and seeing that you can get credited for smaller increments at a time, I'm so happy. Thanks FusionCash!
