Title: the tasks
Post by: zuriel7777 on October 13, 2011, 02:17:31 pm
I spent 8 hours trying to find EAN numbers correctly on one of the offers that said it paid $ 32 ! Once I completed everything, I got paid 32 cents !!!  :BangHead:
I know my decimal places and besides, it said $32 !!!!   what a rip !!!!

I'm sorry that happened to you but the issue of the decimal has been discussed in a number of threads. Gambit, the special offers provider, had a similar issue awhile back and they could be the people who do the tasks too. FC reports it in cents but something on their end does it in dollars. Please keep in mind that anything in the $5+ range is usually a paid or subscription offer

back when I used to see those "dollars" I knew they were off via decimal point because if those amounts were true, folks would be cashing out with big chunks of money right and left.  What's that saying about if it looks too good?

Sorry to hear that.  Keep at it though!

It's frustrating, but ClowdFlower lists the daily tasks pay in dollars instead of cents. Make sure to look at the Fushion Cash costs for the true info. For example, Crowd Flower would say $8, but the correct amount is $.08 as shown on the FC list.  :-

It would be too good to be true if the tasks give you $32 dollars. It sucks you had to spend 8 hours on one task, but that's why i choose to stay away from them. Too time consuming for my tastes.

Any task offering $32 for hardly any time spent or requiring a lengthy subscription is most likely a decimal typo :(
