Title: If you could go back to being a teen again would you?
Post by: SmartyTru on October 13, 2011, 08:42:07 am: I have thought about this and although there were some great memories and happiness in this day and age I would have to say no I think being a teen these days is sometimes even more stressful than being an adult.

They were not the happiest of times for me with the loss of my Dad during those years. But the stuff we go away with could not even be tried without severe repurcussions from the law enforcement folks cause we broke just about every law when it came to driving our cars and wearing out the tires on them. :)

But seriously I would have taken all college bound classes in high school and gone to college instead of listening to my parents when they told me to just work fulltime and get married. That didn't turn out well for me. I also would have dumped my so called friends and found real friends.

But, on the other hand....I don't think I would want to deal with all that crap that came with being a teenager. :)

The past will always be with you especially when you have kids. You always show your kids you most embarrasing moments as a kid. LOL

There are definitely some things I would like to relive and other things I would like to do differently. Having said that, I am two years out of college and I really have no desire to be back in school.

So sorry to hear that they were awkward. I think alot of peoples teen years weren't the best.

My boyfriend cheated on me with my best friend, I was in two car accidents, and my mom had a terrible stroke (thank God she made a full recovery). I enjoy my adulthood and wouldn't trade it in for the world.
